Whether you are a cycling or hiking enthusiast, a wide choice of walks and rides and other escapes await you at the foot of the motel. In this region of Gros-de-Vaud, you can discover various country and forest paths, such as the Chemin des Blés, experience an augmented reality walk in Thierrens, walk the Sentier des Racines in Échallens. A mountain bike route and marked trails will allow you to explore the region by bike. A 21 km ring on rural roads starts from Échallens, awaiting you to help you to discover the surrounding woods, countryside and villages (18 km of asphalt, 3 km of natural surface, easy level).

You will definitely have a hard time leaving without tasting some local specialties. The region introduces you to the flavors of Gros-de-Vaud: you will find local specialties in the heart of Échallens, at the Maison du Blé et du Pain, a bakery-museum renowned in the canton. Local farms too welcome you for guided tours and family experiences.
